FLFTI - Apprenticeship & Training
The Finishing Trades Institute (FTI) is the education department for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades . The FTI’s core purpose is to develop and expand a qualified and competitive work force for the finishing trades industries and oversee the apprenticeship training program where those who wish to enter our trades learn their craft. The FTI not only provides the necessary skills to do the job right the first time, but also provides the training to do it safely.
Requirements
Apprenticeships at Florida Finishing Trades Institute in Orlando are open to anyone living in Florida who is at least 16 years age (with parental consent) with a high school diploma (or equivalent) and reliable transportation. Entry requirements can be flexible for those who are willing to learn!
- Must be a US Resident
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be willing and able to work in various building structures. Included but not limited to high rise buildings.
